A job is an activity you are paid to do by an employer at an agreed amount within a specified time.
Your work, however, is the assignment you were created by God to fulfill.
- A job pays you within limits.
- Your work allows you to earn without limits.
A job is good when it serves as preparation for your work. Employment offers the opportunity to serve your skills in the corporate world, but deployment is the opportunity to serve your gift to the world.
You are not designed to be permanently employed; you are designed to be permanently deployed in your Ruling Domain.
Those who find and deploy their gifts eventually employ those who are still stuck in employment.
No matter how good you are at your job, you will never own it. Two things will inevitably happen:
- Either you lose your job because your skills are no longer needed, or
- Your job loses you (through retirement, redundancy, or personal choice).
But here's the truth: You can be fired from your job, but you can never be fired from your talent.
Your talent is a divine deposit in you—your seed of greatness.
A paid job is good for starting life and gaining experience, but don't let it trap you.
While you are an employee:
✔ Work diligently as if the job is your own business.
✔ Save money.
✔ Develop your talent.
When your talent is fully developed and generating income, create an exit route and leave your job while the ovation is still high.
The best gift you can give yourself this year is the journey of talent maximization. Don't waste precious time—you are not getting any younger.
